About Me

My name is Francis, a passionate GIS Analyst with a love for geography, application development, and data science!

I hold a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Environmental Biology and earned my Graduate Certificate in Geographic Information Systems - Applications Specialist from Fleming College in 2023.

Currently, I am working for J.D. Irving, Limited, with their Information Technology (IT) Divison. I have had the privilege of working with Irving companies, namely, Irving Woodlands, New Brunswick - Maine Railway (NBSR, EMR, MNR), and Cavendish Farms.

J.D. Irving, Limited | July 2023 - Present

Leveraged GIS technologies to develop and analyze spatial products. Managed and maintained GIS applications within a complex enterprise GIS architecture.

Student GIS Consultant

Sustainable Cobourg | Jan 2023 - June 2023

Consulted with Sustainable Cobourg and developed GIS solutions to inform the public about green water infrastructure with the Town of Cobourg (Ontario).

Student Operations Clerk

Government of Canada | April 2021 to August 2022

Developed standard operating procedures for administrative workflows. Provided administrative support to clerical team with the Agency (prepared schedules, took conference minutes, summarized expenditures, and distributed mail).
